About Ryan Dunn

I am an industry certified IT security practitioner with 17 years of progressive security operations experience and a focus in network analysis and incident response. During this time, I've learned a lot, built successful teams, continually innovated, and broken my fair share of computers. I enjoy a challenge because it gives me the opportunity to flex my mental muscles and perhaps even find some I didn't know I had.I believe that allowing people the freedom to fail inherently provides them with the opportunity to succeed. Failure is never the end; it's simply a new beginning. I always tell my teams: I don't necessarily care if your assessment is right or wrong, I only care that you have one. Take a shot at a solution. If you can explain how and why you came to your conclusion, and have evidence to back it up, that's a win in my book. The rest we can figure out together. The better we all do, the better we all do.
