Duntan West turned her hobby of organising events into a business by setting up WonderWorks in the UK in 2004 and replicated it in Nigeria since 2007. She is a graduate of The George Washington University Business School, where she got a professional certificate in Event Management.With over 25 years of events management experience, she manages a team of dedicated professionals with creativity, innovation and technical expertise, setting standards in the industry in Nigeria. She has managed over 350 large events with several facets and over many days (international sports tournaments, exhibitions, awards and conferences). She has in-depth experience both nationally and internationally having coordinated events across Europe, UK, Mexico & US. The WonderWorks Events team plan and execute corporate, non-profit, children’s parties and social events worldwide. Today, WonderWorks has become a preferred Event Planner for her clients.She is an international respected Event Planner and an active member of the International Live Events Association – the flagship industry of event professionals worldwide, she was the founding President of ILEA-Nigeria Chapter and currently International Chair for ILEA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. As a result of health issues in her earlier life, Duntan has pursued research in nutrition as a pillar for wellbeing. She is now a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and has a certification in Hormonal Health. She also runs a wellness practice ‘Refreshed Healthy Living’ where she offers consulting services, seminars, products and helps people create a healthy lifestyle and maintain it. The company runs a yearly charity program called Refreshed Day dedicated solely to providing free medical care and business talks to the less privileged. In her spare time, Duntan uses tapestry to create artwork. She is a mentor of teenage protégés supporting them in living for integrity and lifestyle choices. She grows most of her vegetables and herbs at her home farm.
