I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. I have over 10 years of working experience, including international experience. Currently I am the joint owner and founder, of a company called Water Science. Our business covers Total Water Treatment Solutions, which include; Drinking, Boiler, Cooling, Effluent and Sewage Water Treatment. I primarily function as the Technical Director, whereby I oversee all Technical Aspects of the business. Our divisions include; Engineering, Equipment, Laboratory and Chemicals. Water Science is a thriving business with a National Footprint, as well as extending itself across border into Africa. We have a long list of high-profile clienteles and compete against the biggest names in the industry. Being an owner/founder has given me the opportunity to gain priceless experience both technically and in Business Management holistically.I have previously worked for Watericon as a Process Engineer, where I was responsible for Plant Design as well as Boiler & Cooling Tower Treatment. Prior to Watericon, I worked for Vesuvius where I was part of their International Training Program. I spent a year between Vesuvius South Korea & Vesuvius China. During this time, I received extensive training in Process Engineering, Operations, R&D. After completing the program, I was based at Vesuvius South Africa, as a Process Engineer. During this time, I completed substantial cost saving projects and assisted in managing the Quality Department. Following Vesuvius South Africa, I worked briefly as an expat in Vesuvius Poland, where I was part of the Global Process Development Team. Prior to Vesuvius I also worked briefly at KPMG, where I was part of an internal audit team.
