Building patient rapport is of utmost importance. Through my excellent communication skills, friendly nature and ability to sympathise with patients, I am able to gently and painlessly provide a good standard of care to my patients. I take pride in the level of patient care I perform through practicing evidence-based dentistry. My gentle and caring demeanour is evident through patients providing me with gifts and recommending me as a practitioner to their peers.Working as an integral member within a team setting is one of my many fortes. Throughout my studies and active participation in the JCU Dental Student Association, tasks were based around team dynamics and working together to attain a common goal. These activities really showcased the importance of each team member within the group and how each individual contributed to effectively and creatively complete tasks. My participation as a sponsorship director for JCU Dental Student Association allowed me to build on my leadership and organisational skills as well as my communication skills. Furthermore, I have always been driven to achieve high productivity, without compromising on quality. I have attributed my successes to a good work ethic and discipline.
