Provided art-making workshops at AS220 downtown Studio, the Rhode Island Training School (RITS), and and the MET School. Classes in photography, painting and drawing, hip-hop, music, dance, creative writing, sewing, computer design, and more. Youth are given the opportunity to exhibit or perform work created in the workshops at the end of each term in AS220′s dedicated Youth Gallery and the Studio’s quarterly public showcases. In addition, mentored youths in developing personal portfolios that can be used to open doors to higher education and employment.
