Managed a team of entry-level support staff responsible for fielding phone calls, answering customer inquiries, handling low-severity claims, as well as providing various support to our claims adjusters. Team was also responsible for indexing mail and providing other services to our customers (notaries). Tasked with finding inefficiencies and creative solutions in the indexing and mail distribution process as well as improvements in over-the-phone service levels.Oversaw salvage unit responsible for facilitating salvage processes and document collection/paperwork on total loss vehicles, provided coverage verifications to a third party vendor on glass claims, as well as responding to customer inquiries and bringing complaints to a resolution.Additionally, responsible for managing newly created Fast Track AMD Claims Team responsible for handling single-party, low-severity claims for insureds.

Analyzes and evaluates property claims to determine cause of loss, extent of damage, and cost of repairs. Negotiates settlement with insured and/or contractor, explains estimate and payments to customer. Provides assistance to inside representatives when needed. Results:-2014 Line of Business Award recipient for IL/IN Property Team.-Handled more than 2,500 claims and closed over 2,800 coverages to date.
