I am an Associate Professor of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, which is a large tertiary care teaching and referral centre in North India. My areas of clinical expertise include the treatment of autoimmune rheumatic diseases. My research interests involve vasculitis (particularly Takayasu arteritis and ANCA vasculitis), cardiovascular risk assessment in rheumatic diseases, endothelial biology and fibrosis, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, scientific writing and editing and Rheumatology education in India. I am a member of the steering committee of the ATACC-RA, an international research group assessing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with rheumatic diseases.
