Yinson Production Pte Ltd is a FPSO owner-operator company. Currently we are involved in the OCTP Field Development for ENI. Yinson will own and operate the OCTP GHANA FPSO in Ghana waters. In the role of Lead Piping Engineer, my responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:- Participation as required in tenders, projects, FEED work as well as debottlenecking and other work associated with existing Yinson units- Participation in subcontractor review and selections- Review, checking and approval of subcontractor design- Develop Company piping systems (design and engineering) standards- Develop and maintain relations with suppliers and subcontractors to understand the latest market standards and help develop new business opportunities.

EPC of FPSO topside modules for Bukit Tua FPSO to be operated offshore Indonesia. This FPSO is designed for 77 MMSCFD (Gas), 22000 STBOPD (Oil) and 20000 STBPD (Water). The topside facilities include basic Oil / Gas separation, Gas Export Compression, Gas Dehydration, Fuel gas, Produced Water Treatment and utilities which include Power Generation. This project also has many interfaces consisting of RLEC Shipyard; Client supplied equipment vendors, Classification society, Regulatory body, internal fabrication yard and GPS sub-vendors. As a Senior Project Engineer, am responsible for the successful execution of the project within the budgeted cost and schedule. The role includes:Prepare and execute in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, Interface Management plan, Project schedule. Interface with various parties and communicate effectively for successful execution of the project. Progress reporting and monitoring/measure progress in line with the project schedule. Implement Technical Query procedures and Design Change Notifications as per Company procedures. Interface with Classification society and get the necessary design review and certification approvals. Participate in HAZOP and HAZID activities and assist in closing out action items. Participate and assist procurement team in finalizing Purchase Orders for equipment, packages and sub-contracts. Liaise with vendors/ suppliers and monitor progress during the execution of their contract. Liaise and monitor construction, fabrication and MC progress as per plan and provide necessary inputs during construction.

Perform independent peer review of the designEnsure engineering design conforms to the Client-ITB requirements and the latest industry codes and industry practices.Quality of deliverables developed by the office.Liaise with site on construction engineering activities.Assist site during fabrication of modules in resolving any engineering issues.

Experience includes management of engineering resources, develop engineering documentation and drawing procedures, conduct training on engineering systems for engineering staff, prepare roles & responsibility statements for Functional and Project Engineering personnel, proposal and project engineering management, Conceptual, Pre-Feed, FEED and Detail Engineering, Design Reviews.

As Manager of Engineering am responsible for:• Compliance with relevant health, safety and environment legislative requirements;• Maintain a safe place of work for all personnel by ensuring that hazards in the workplace are identified and managed;• Management of engineering staff;• Quality of all engineering deliverables developed by the office;• Set clear directions and expectations for all engineering/design personnel to ensure that the customers’ needs and expectations are fully satisfied;• Develop and implement strategies to promote continuous improvement and improved cost effectiveness of work by the engineering/design groups;• Ensure that estimating norms and techniques are well developed continuously improved and properly used throughout the various phases of projects;• Ensuring performance appraisals are conducted effectively and implementation of competency assessment and development for all engineering and design personnel;• Facilitate coordination between Lead Engineers and Project Manager, to ensure that all projects under execution are resourced correctly with appropriate personnel;• Ensure recruitment of personnel is based on required position competencies;• Ensure that effective counseling, coaching and support are provided for all personnel;• Promote desired behaviors; foster team spirit; maintain high levels of motivation;• Reassignment of personnel between Projects, Business Units or re-deployment to affiliated organizations;• Development and maintenance of local systems and work methods to complement corporate systems;• Liaising with and support of other location functional groups; and• Promoting cooperation and Workshare between offices.
