I have started working with David Treitel from September 2014 in his US tax team. We help the UK residents to file their US tax returns. Most of the clients we deal with would fall under streamlined process as they wouldn't have filed US tax returns in their life time and never realised a need. Preparation of Tax Equalization Calculations based on Client’s Engagement Specifications.. Tax equalization is a policy of the company which helps the expatriating taxpayers to have a no loss no gain position while paying the USA and Foreign taxes.. Has been trained in responding and resolving the ‘Tax notices’ received by the taxpayers from IRS and Franchise Tax Board via emails and calls

I worked for Karvy Computer Share Pvt Ltd for their mutual funds team. My basic duties were. Processing online subscriptions, switches and redemptions of Principal Mutual Fund for CITI BANK, ICICI WEB TRADE, AMERICAN EXPRESS BANK, KOTAK SECURITIES, HSBC and IDBI , and sending the reverse feeds for the same.. Sending Monthly reconciliation files to the respective Banks.. Handling queries pertaining to Online Purchases, Redemptions & switches.. Coordinating with Asset Management Companies (AMC’s) and Branches of Karvy MF all over the India for solving the queries. Accumulate the data related to the subscriptions of UTI mutual funds and reconcile it with the data given by the banks which is pertaining to the amounts deposited in the bank.
