The summer internship with Cintas was a unique opportunity to work extensively in several parts of a Fortune 500 company, which allowed me to develop my skill in communication and customer service, as well as giving me first hand experience in sales. During my internship I was able to understand and experience our products and services through my time spent in the plant and on route with some of our partners, and I was able to use that knowledge later when I was cold calling and going to meeting leads with the sales team. I gained some knowledge of qualifying leads, as well as the confidence to pitch a sale to a business owner. In addition, I also attended a company wide intern summit and completed a number of individual projects for the company.
