CurrentAs a Service Owner for DBaaS, primarily focused on Oracle technology delivered on Oracle Exadata infrastructure, I am responsible for ensuring the availability and stability of the services we provide. I lead teams tasked with administration and operations, entire database life-cycle, manage critical incidents, oversee security, and handle escalations. I serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, as well as for management and customers regarding operations.Key responsibilities include:- Leading and managing teams to ensure service availability and operational excellence.- Overseeing Oracle Exadata deployments, configuration, and maintenance of Exadata Database Machines, Linux servers, and ZFS storage appliances.- Ensuring security compliance across environments and handling DNS, LDAP, NTP, and Proxy services.- Managing automation, backup & restore processes, monitoring, and alert management.- Driving root cause analysis of complex incidents, mitigating service outages, and minimizing quality disruptions.- Leading mid-term and long-term projects focused on service stability and improvement.- Collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, management, and customers to deliver project outcomes and achieve business goals.- Developing and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of service delivery.- My role emphasizes managerial responsibilities, ensuring effective service delivery while overseeing strategic initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
