The position inspects, tests, evaluates, calibrates and updates generator systems and wiring to improve reliability and to assure dependability, safety and compliance. Performs preventive maintenance on electrical building systems such as electrical power distribution, voltage regulators, transformers, switchgear, automatic transfer switches and uninterruptible power supply systems and air compressors to ensure uninterrupted power and continuous air supply to critical facilities, equipment and systems. Installs conduits and wires to provide power as required. Interprets wiring diagrams in order to install generator systems. Responds to 24-hour emergency calls to repair remote generator systems.

Coordination with the Procurement Section and finally with the R & I unit for verification on the quantity and quality of the received spare parts. Provision of the training to the military personnel for minor generator maintenance. Carry out emergency repairs, respond to breakdown calls. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by CE.
