Responsibilities include: - Administering, in conjunction with the Vice-President (Student Life), the application process for Club Status. - Assisting and advising SSMU members on the process of applying for lnterim Club Status and Full Club Status. - Reviewing all submitted application for lnterim Status and Full Status, and making recommendations for revisions where applicable to prepare applications for review by the Club Committee. - Preparing agendas in advance of and chairing the SSMU Club Committee meetings. - Reporting bi-weekly to SSMU's Legislative Council on the decisions made by the Club Committee and presenting those decisions for ratification. - Assisting and advising representatives of student clubs on amendments to their constitutions. - Monitoring compliance with club constitutions and with appendix G of the Memorandum of Agreement with McGill.- collaborating with staff in the Student Life portfolio on the maintenance of club records and the upkeep of a master list of all SSMU Clubs. - To make recommendations on policies for the approval and maintenance of club status, as requested by the Vice-President (Student Life).

- Sitting on the 30 member SSMU legislative council. Here I am able to speak for, vote in support of and bring motions to the council which I feel would promote student clubs and/or encourage club participation on campus.- Sitting on three SSMU committees; The Funding, Services Review and the Clubs Committees: - The Funding Committee is responsible for the allocation of SSMU funding to various clubs who apply for financial assistance throughout the year. - The Clubs Committee is responsible for the admittance of new clubs into the SSMU as well as revising all constitutional changes made by individual clubs. - The Services Review Committee is responsible for reviewing SSMU Service mandates individually to determine whether they are being followed as well as whether they fulfill SSMU's evolving definition of a 'Service'
