During the first 8 months at Paket.mk we replaced the Woocommerce storefront solution with a custom one built with Vendure / Next.js. We automatised internal logistics services and integrated the website with the ERP and delivery management software, automated the analytics and reporting procedures. With this we laid down the foundations for Paket.mk to become a marketplace platform and we onboarded our first vendors in April 2022. Paket.mk is a small company, with an engineering team of 3, so the CTO role is mostly a label - most of my work was just building the new platform. I co-founded H4 in 2015 and grew the company to 100 employees. It went through series B funding, raising a total of $27M and the launch of a product used by the world’s largest investment banks and law firms. I worked on the initial product vision, MVP design and built the H4 engineering team from one to 40 people.In the first couple of years I was working directly on our product. I programmed the first iteration of H4’s web-based text editor and various parts of the platform.Over time I transitioned to managing a growing team of engineers, focusing on hiring excellent engineers and bridging the knowledge and communication differences between our London-based business team and the engineers in Skopje.My current focus is on taking H4 to the next level of growth. This includes building a London engineering team and putting the correct organization in place to sustain a rapid scale up, maintain the great company culture and work environment and deliver an amazing product to the world’s most demanding customers.Experience throughout my CTO role includes:- Full stack software engineering (Typescript, React, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Git, CI)- Product development- System architecture- SDLC process design - Hiring, coaching and team building- Business analysis and requirements gathering- Client and vendor relationship management- Justifying R&D tax exempts to HMRS, and a bunch of other administrative stuff...

I fully implemented and maintained a web application used by ProCredit Bank’s back office to manage a bond investment portfolio. The application was coded in Python with a web-based frontend. It involved a great degree of understanding of the business domain, communication with stakeholders and integration with the rest of the bank’s internal systems.I was also in charge of maintaining internal tools and systems like Redmine, for which I wrote several plugins in Ruby.

During my first 2 years of professional programming I used PHP, C#, Python and Javascript to build websites, mostly working for local software firms but also as a freelancer.
