Started at Midstate landscaping and excavating on July 10th 2013. I started at the white bear center of arts with Tom Day and John d'amboise. It took some time to learn the basics but I kept coming back. I learned how to lay sod rolls, irrigation and basics of water run off on a commercial job site. We created two stone walk over bridges that the water could flow to the proper storm sewer catch basins. We also created plant life and rock beds. From there on I continued to grow with helping out on residential and commercial jobs throughout the past five years. I consider myself lucky to find such a fun and complex job that was never intended to be. But it goes to show if you stick with something long enough you can do anything. Today I have built relationships with some of the smartest people in the excavating operations and the ability to overcome obstacles one day at a time. Today I have my commercial drivers license and find myself being a reliable co-worker in times of need. I can drive truck and haul equipment for the guys and find myself learning more and more as the days go bye.
