DENAP Designs was my first entrepreneurial venture. Being the over achiever I am it became a Header for many different projects ranging from fine portrait art to mosaic tile, to antique restoration and full custom hardwood finishing renovations, as well as waste vegetable oil diesel fuel conversions. It allowed me the freedom to travel and see more of this beautiful country.

I worked with JPC as a Lead Carpenter/ Foreman doing full scope of commercial and residential renovations, including steel stud, drywall, windows, doors, trim and more. I worked with the owners and design team to ensure quality and inter trade coordination.I work with JPC until I had to leave for a previous contract commitment though my business DENAP Designs.

The job with Skyfire gave me the opportunity to move to BC, a truly amazing experience.My work term with Skyfire was for one large project, which was at the time Canada's largest solar tracking installation.During my time with Skyfire I worked assembling large solar arrays with tracking heads and assisting in guiding and securing them to towers. After a short time I was put under the direction of a journeyman electrician and was tasked with ensuring quality control, completing and testing wire connections and proper functioning of the tracking systems.It was an amazing learning experience and it was a lot of fun getting involved with the green energy movement.

I started working with better barns as extra weekends and evenings. Once his business began to expand I was offered a well paid full time position and took it. While working with the owner i learned many more tricks of the trade as well as learning more about electrical and tool repair and several other complementary skills. The owner also mentored me in buisness skills and ended up giving me several of my own first contracts.

Started out learning to fabricate granite countertops and helping to build custom hardwood cabinets.Before I quit for better pay and work environment I had become head of the stone department and over saw 2 full time employees in the fabrication of granite counter tops, from making onsite templates, to colour matching, cutting, polishing, and installing as well as repairing and repolishing old countertops.I also assisted in the full scope of custom hardwood cabinet building, from wood prep, to cutting, joining, routing, assembling, sanding and installing.

Worked assembling modular houses onto a foundation. I worked on all scopes of the project from prep (knee wall) to finishing (siding, tile, hardwood, painting, trim, and more)Work both independently and as a team, with lots of overtime helping to ensuring deadlines were met.I worked for Eden until we were laid off for winter

I moved to NB and began working for, and learning from my father as a carpenters apprentice. I was working on all scopes of both renovations and new construction, including forms, framing, roofs, siding, flooring, tile, windows, doors, trim and much much moreI am a quick learner and quickly took on responsibility working independently and directing other employees on various job-sites.During my time working with him I gained an extensive understanding of residential building codes, structural function, drainage systems, and carrying loads. As well as learning to properly read blueprints.

Started doing clean up, moving/holding materials, painting , and other basic building skills.Learned fast and began working as a carpenters helper, cutting, measuring, and assembling foundation forms, walls, roofs, flooring and more. Learned basic residental building code as well as many tricks of the trade during my time by asking many questions.
