A logistics and data analytics professional with eight years of experience with a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Operations Management from California State Polytechnic University and simultaneously working to attain certification in data analytics. I have concentrated my course of study on supply chain management processes and systems such as SAP, GIS, and am a member of ASCM. In my previous role as an administrative clerk, I apply academic concepts of technology and operations management to create real-world solutions for the Citrus College administration. I devise and implement innovative best practices in event planning and execution, using multiple ERP systems. Additionally, I use data-driven analysis to predict student event participation and event success, negotiate with vendors, advocate for and track funding, manage supply inventories, and to determine the needs to enhance our impact on students, faculty, staff, and community. As a logistics technician in the United States Marine Corps, I led global large-scale logistics planning and execution. I am a recognized leader in academic and professional settings. I led a team of over 200 members to accomplish numerous projects, acted as a training manager, and was elected by the student body to serve as the vice president of Citrus College student government and selected as president of multiple school clubs. I am a champion for fellow veterans - I successfully advocated for funding for 90,000 student veterans before the California state legislature receiving an additional $5 million in continuous funding for veteran education programs. For my veteran advocacy and volunteer efforts I received the Veteran of the Year California state-level award.
