My career began at a big box store back in 1999...I really got off the ground working at the Expo Design Center.I quickly realized my passion and need for creative thinking.I worked in the bath showroom, then in Trade Services and finally the Design Room.I worked at three different Expo's over a five year period in two different states.I followed my passion and started working for Stuart Elfland at Metropolitan Cabinets. I honed in my craft of kitchen design skills there and started working in production.My duties consisted of checking the accuracy of over 10 highly skilled designers. I worked in research and development for new products and helped create a new catalogfor our custom frameless and inset cabinet lines. I worked closely with vendors such as Conestoga Wood, Northern Contours, Blum, Hafele, Rev-a-shelf and many others.I picked up and moved across the country, got married and my daughter was born. #lifechangesA new chapter starts and I was fortunate to run into Carlos Arce of EDBA Cabinets.He hired me as his lead designer and he quickly promoted me to the store manager. We had a beautiful showroom and we fabricated our own countertops. My time with EDBA was fruitful for a few years, but I needed something more. So, I moved on to try something more.I decided to move into the Remodeling side of the business. I was hired by Mike Arnett to be a Kitchen and Bath Designer. After a while of doing that, Mike came to me and offered me theopportunity to expand my portfolio. I began running leads for Room Additions, Patio Covers and whole house remodeling. I started doing all my own drawings for the Home Owners Associations and working with new innovative products to set us apart. I worked many hours over 5 years of commitment to remodeling. I probably learned the most at this job because I finally got to see the full process from start to finish. After much deliberation, I thought it was the right time to move on with my journey....
