The Photo and Video Services Manager serves as a key leader in Fairmont State University’s creative team. The Manager is responsible for implementing a creative strategy through use of dynamic videography and photography to strengthen the University’s brand and advance the university’s priorities and goals. The Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the photo and video team to capture and deliver compelling images and video that bring the Fairmont State brand to life and share the University’s story. Works collaboratively with department leadership to lead large scale shoots and marketing efforts. Also ensures there are effective systems in place to gather and turn around images and video as quickly as possible. The Manager will oversee one professional staff member and a team of student employees. A solution-oriented leader, guides the team in how to plan for and execute dozens of projects each month. Provides overall creative directions and serves as lead photographer/videographer on critical shoots. Identifies and works with pool of freelance photographers, as needed.

I work in collaboration with University Relations and Marketing and the Design Team at Fairmont State University to showcase our campus, student life and curriculum opportunities as well as bolster recruitment efforts and provide the University with photography services such as professional head shots, event photography, documentation and archiving.

Providing consultation and digital media services such as photography/videography, graphic design and web design as well as live production services such as live audio support and online streaming.

Have camera, will travel.

Coordinating volunteer and staff efforts to provide LIFE UMC and its audience with high quality media production, live-streaming and live event production, audio engineering and facilities management.
