As a Sign Language Interpreter at Sorenson Communications, I provide high-quality video relay service (VRS) and video remote interpreting (VRI) for deaf and hard-of-hearing clients across various settings and domains. I have a strong background in education, having worked as a Science Team Coach and MakerSpace Director, as well as a Rocketry Team Coach at Granada Hills Charter for over five years. I also run my own freelance interpretation business, Interpreter Dusty, where I offer American Sign Language/English interpretation in the Greater Los Angeles area. With 16+ years of experience in interpretation and education, I have developed excellent skills in social networking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. I am passionate about facilitating access, inclusion, and empowerment for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, as well as promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and innovation.
