Working on the V-22 Osprey and H-1 combat helicopter programs, everything we do is overseen by the government. I am based out of the Repair and Overhaul center where we fix defective blades and gearboxes before returning them to the fleet, so quality is incredibly vital. My main role is to host Correct Action Board (CAB) meetings with production managers and government employees to ensure that all standards are being met and to dig deeper into any problems that may be occurring. I also complete a multitude of tasks outside of CAB, including the designing and rendering of 3D printed object to use as masking aids. This allows us to mask off critical pieces of gearboxes before they enter the paint process much more efficiently than the traditional method of using tape. I also am in charge of the documentation of all Bell induced Scrap and digging into data analytics on what the root cause was. -

A crankshaft is a large metal part that is the heart and soul of every combustion engine vehicle in the world. During my time here, I managed the shipments of 200,000 crankshafts to General Motors, equating to a value of over $10M. My roles included managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, scheduling amount of pieces to produced, and controlling outgoing shipments. This involved a multitude of research to be able to receive the highest internal value per dollar spent on each campaign. I helped to create the personal brand of Everlasting Images by using new marketing tactics and advising customers to post as well, tagging Everlasting Images.On the back end I found a large opportunity increase the amount of users on their website by optimizing it for SEO. I worked with the owner to update multiple aspects of the website in turn leading to each image getting more hits on a google search. A huge part of this was displaying the images in a format that allowed them to have alt text, drastically increasing their searchability. When necessary I helped to edit wedding pictures and high school senior photo shoots, using different applications from the Adobe Sweet. I also have a background in videography and have create two wedding videos, to try to aesthetically capture the mood that photographs are unable to do. -
Supply Chain Management InternTextron Systems Jun 2017 - Jul 2018New Orleans, LaThe program that I was a part of was called the Ship-to-Shore connector. An updated version of the LCAC (1970s), the SSC leads the cusp of innovation in amphibious assault. It's main use is for transportation of troops and battle gear such as tanks or aircraft, and delivering it's payload to areas that larger battle ships cannot dock. Working with a company that is government contracted presents itself many unique challenges that I got to experience and learn to cope with. This includes enhanced stress on constantly finding the most qualified and cheapest suppliers. Having these constraints led me to be invloved in the process of finding new perspective suppliers for large ticket items by calling multiple companies and ensuring their authenticity. I am also heavily involved in the in the data mining process used to evaluate suppliers. One of the ways I am helping to manage these suppliers is by creating a supplier scorecard in Microsoft excel that is seamlessly automated with our database to rate each supplier on a monthly basis across multiple criteria. On a daily basis I create and send both purchase offers and purchase requisitions to aid in the buying process of necessary materials. -
