Our world is inexorably linked by the need for food. We all share this. How we experience, imbibe, talk about, present, and obsess over food and beverage is my passion. I can communicate with anyone, at any age, anywhere by starting a meaningful conversation with this as a topic. I served as the lead concierge for Spirits & Spice. I deal with all things epicurean. At my heart, I am a teacher. I have insatiable curiosity for people and delight in their company. I want to make any occasion with food or drink a memorable and unique experience. I revel in spirits, especially Scotch whisky. Other spirits are wonderful and beer and wine are something I could spend a lifetime trying to master and relish its journey. I trace human culture and its history through it and wish to share that with you, virtually or face to face. Previously, I enjoyed life as a manager for both a brewery and distillery. I hosted events for a whiskey bar with an unparalleled collection. I have owned my own business retailing oils, vinegars, spices, whiskies, wines, and liquors. I have worked front of the house for a large company, and even managed a quick serve restaurant. Even there I found delight and had the pleasure of working with some of the most dedicated people I have ever met. When I am not at work, I am cooking anyway. I develop recipes, make meals for my wife and teach my nieces and nephew how to cook and how to carry on family recipes. I am an avid gamer and love to role play. I even make up fantasy stories about spirits and wine there too.
