  Store Manager - Rural Market Development

  I relocated to Rocky Mountain House, AB in early February 2013. I moved down to apply proven sales strategies from our West Edmonton Mall (Edmonton, AB) location where I was training as a Store Manager prior to Bell's announcement of 20 new stores in western Canada. The Source (the marionette retail arm of Canadian telecom giant BCE) quickly sent national level sales managers to our location to survey what we were doing to so actively beat heavily researched sales quotas . Based on initial success from our store (providing over 300 new term cellular clients in FY2013) The Source was able to secure funding from Bell to open another 40+ stores in the following year and growing. After recruiting the ideal team, I began sourcing (pun absolutely intended) and training for other store's and communities based on their individual needs versus the corporate template. While most consulting was done via phone given the rural locations mentioned, I did train out three new manager's on location spending more than two months in other stores.
