Part of a five person MBA consulting team responsible for developing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for a division of Ecolab in Australia.

In this role I was responsible for National daily operations for the NSW depot, ensuring all compliance of company policies and procedures, managing staff across multiple departments, and in charge of the NSW Operations P&L. I was responsible for H&S compliance, quoting and pricing for clients, and process implementation & improvements.• Developed and implemented a training process including competency sign off for all key accounts to reduce errors and provide database of capable installers

Reporting to the GM of Hoyts Home Entertainment, I oversaw all Hoyts Kiosk operational functions. During my time with Oovie/Hoyts Kiosk, I played a key part in helping the business expand from 190 kiosks to almost 700 units by the time I left. Managing direct reports both in head office and remotely in our warehouse, as well as relationship management with our outsourced technical service providers was a large part of this role. Additionally, in this role I acted as gatekeeper to our Swedish hardware and software provider, Instant Systems. Finally, I managed all OPEX & CAPEX budgets for my department, always looking for a more cost effective and efficient way to perform tasks.• Reorganized technical support platform to provide reliable and scalable solution resulting in a reduced cost-per-kiosk model and expanded company footprint in key strategic territories• Led 12-month project with international teams to scope, design, test, and implement first new user interface on kiosk since launch of business resulting in 9% increase in basket size• Created avenue to use existing software platform by repurposing dormant features and settings to incorporate targeted ad-space resulting in $150k bottom-line profit in first year

Reporting directly to the GM of Operations, I oversaw all OOVIE kiosk activity and information systems to ensure efficient & reliable operation throughout the entire circuit. My primary function was to maximise the transactional performance of the kiosk network, and manage operational expenditures within assigned budgets. I also managed the (internal & external) field technicians, handled all kiosk deployment (installation, relocation & removal) with the relevant transport company, and liased with the merchandising staff to ensure all machines are properly working & are aesthetically correct.• Converted network of 700 kiosks from open-network internet connection to secured virtual private network connection to minimize privacy exposure resulting in 64% cost reduction.

As the Warehouse Manager, I reported to the Network Manager, and looked after all of OOVIE's warehouse functions. This ranged from timely dispatch of spare parts and kiosk collateral, timely ordering of spare parts, quality control over all OOVIE kiosks leaving the warehouse, kiosk refurbishment, and managing the relationship with the warehouse owner/operators. I also monitored the status of all kiosks in the OOVIE network, performed remote troubleshooting & fixing of kiosks, provided in-field technical backup for technicians, maintained the (internal & external) technician roster, and regularly updated the OOVIE knowledge base website. Additionally, I was also responsible for the implementation of the Connect2Field software system, and maintaining the relationship with the relevant transportation companies to install, relocate, or remove our kiosks from the field.• Replaced existing third-party logistics supplier to increase installation footprint and expand installation complexity capabilities resulting in 47% decreased installation costs
