I have built a wide variety of skill ranging from intense labor to interpersonal communication through a variety of jobs to service trips and projects in the inner city. I have worked with a wide variety of people including many homeless and low income families. My experiences at Wartburg include:*A trip to Denver, Colorado where I student taught mathematics, science, reading, and physical education at Morey Middle School. I also did several service projects to help aid the homeless and minority community. I was also part of a mission group that packaged and shipped shoes to Africa.*Working at Fastenal in both Waverly & Carroll, Iowa where I acquired numerous business related skills. These skills include a large amount of customer interaction and relationship building. I was also a part of a five person team that achieved sales eclipsing $200,000 in the Waverly area. This job has helped in the development of a stronger sense of problem solving, working on a specialized computer system, customer interaction, and working as a team.*Phi Beta Lambda where I was the president and managed an officer team of 11 and the overal organization of 19 members. In the duration of presidency our chapter raised over $1000 in profit and has donated to organizations including "Feed My Starving Children" and "March of Dimes".
