Public Ecology offers ecologically inspired design and education; gardening and beekeeping courses, landscape design, and urban agriculture.

The beecentric hive is modelled after the honeybees’ natural habitat; a hollow tree trunk. Originally inspired by the Warre hive.The Beecentric Hive is designed and handcrafted in Edmonton, Alberta for the conscientious beekeeper. Beecentric Hives are made from solid pine and feature strong finger joints and handles on all four sides. The beecentric hive is a hybrid between a commercial Langstroth and a Warre Hive designs.

Other core jobs may include providing advice, undertaking research and evaluation, coordination, engagement and education.

Presently working at BAM to develop a virtual school model allowing students to move through the program of studies in novel ways that follow student interests and passions. I am interested in applying technologies such as machine learning to enable student-centred education.

Jasper Place Permaculture is a hands on high school permaculture program that is working to create a perennial edible food forest in the schools largest courtyard.

The the period of a year, I worked at a large high school in Monterrey NL, Mexico, teaching mathematics.

Blue Heron is a support service for individuals with developmental disabilities. As community coordinator for three consecutive summers, it was my responsibility to find community resources and supports for clients. By using existing community supports, they service hopes to increase the independence of each client while at the same time integrating them into the community.

It was my responsibility to care for and maintain the historic site's garden and plant collections and to guild visitor through the property.
