As Director of Engineering, I managed the Bellum.ai engineering team that developed a novel, skill-based bowling challenge application. As Principal Engineer, I guided Bellum.ai in technology decisions, ideation of new offerings in the family entertainment space, and created platforms to give insights into the business. Owner of the Identity Domain for MGM Resorts International. I am responsible for the creation and management of an engineering team that produces innovative identity flows that reduce friction for the customer when interacting with MGM systems and services. The experiences include password-less logins, employee assisted authentication of non-member guests, biometrics, identity verification and more.Projects & Responsibilities: - Creation of microservices that provide custom authentication and authorization flows and provide access to MGM systems and facilities through mobile devices, kiosks and through employee assisted authentication and authorization. - Analysis and integration of various identity verifiers including ID.me, Acuant and VeriDocs. - Exploration of biometric technologies and usage in granting access to facilities and services. This includes proof-of-concept work. - Work with Product Management to clarify and define product requirements, prioritize work and create product roadmaps. - Work with senior management to ensure alignment with organizational goals. - Budgeting and planning for team growth, technology selection and technology acquisition.

I was a founding member and leader of the MGM Enterprise Architecture group. This organization is responsible for the creation of processes and standards that enable the development and adoption of technology across the whole enterprise. In addition, we are responsible for aligning business goals with technology strategies including analysis of third-party applications for fit with enterprise standards and requirements. We, also, provided architectural oversight of projects to ensure success. This includes governance to ensure adherence to the appropriate processes.Projects & Responsibilities: - Program Architect and Enterprise Architect for adoption of a new Revenue Management System (RMS) to be used for Las Vegas properties. - Enterprise Architect for adoption of a new Central Reservation System (CRS) that will be used across all MGM Resorts International properties. - Enterprise Architect responsible for development of a new Streaming Microservices Architecture to replace the legacy booking engine.
