At BEMA I serve as client manager and technical lead for Houston area clients. I work with our talented team to architect solutions, plan for and execute projects and provide on and off-site technical support for small to medium businesses, schools and non-profit organizations.I manage support/project engineers and mentor them in their professional and technical growth. Unpaid Community Volunteer PositionAs an elected representative of my community in Southwyck Community Association, I participate in the decision making process for a $500,000+ annual budget. Our board of directors oversees the proper maintance of all common amenities, collection of assessment funds, and management of neighborhood projects. We work within a set of guidelines defined by our Articles of Incorporation, Covenants and By-Laws and adhere to a strict moral and ethical code to prevent any abuse of power. We interface with residents, other area HOA boards, local government bodies, corporations and non-profit organizations to achieve our mission to maintain and improve property value in the Southwyck community.

At Solerant I was challenged to juggle many clients both directly as a primary engineer and indirectly as their account manager. Duties include a varity of activies from end user support to server/network management. I help to manage desktop support technicians and to mentor them in their professional and technical growth. This position also requires accurate time tracking and updating of all client documentation.I have written proposals for and have been involved in many projects related to Windows 2003/2008 Server installations, SBS 2008 Swing Migrations, MS Exchange 2003/2007/2010 setup and migration, switch & firewall configuration, and VoIP phone systems among others.The Solerant Houston office fell under new ownership in January 2012 and became BEMA Information Technologies.

At C-K I managed a network of around 100 environmental consulting and engineering professionals. During my time there I replaced all server infrastructure with new hardware and new versions of Windows Server (NT-2003) and Exchange (5.5-2003). The network infrastructure was replaced with a fully-managed Cisco layer 3 PoE infrastructure to support the multi-tenant environment at the main office and remote locations which also included a Cisco ISR device at each location for Call Manager integration with failover, VPN and switching. In short, I managed every aspect of the IT environment at C-K and performed end user support for a great group of professionals. My experience here prepared me to move into the consulting world where I have further expanded my knowledge and experience.

As a part time computer technician at HuntNet.net and Hunt Brothers of Louisiana LLC, I initially developed my abilities in desktop troubleshooting, Internet troubleshooting, networking and customer service. I built and supported custom desktop systems, supported dial-up ISP customers and performend physical installation of network cabling. Kevin and Jason Hunt provided me with an excellent introduction to the IT world that I have built upon through the years.
