Attention to detail, maintaining poise under extreme pressure, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels, are just a few of the very important things that I bring with me every day in my professional life. Seven years ago, I began a career in Information Technology with these skills, and they have served me well. To accompany these skills, I have dedicated myself to continual learning, which has developed into a passion of mine. To satisfy my passions, I have continually sought out education and training opportunities in the domain of the Network Security and Cyber Security. In my career the most challenging part of it and what made me successful, was the ability to communicate with a very diverse set of individuals, with equally diverse backgrounds. As an IT Installation Field Service Engineer I became a pivotal point of communication between the nursing staff, hospital IT staff and, hospital administration. My ability to quickly learn to communicate the same information in different ways, to such a diverse group was noticed, and I was soon asked to take on the most challenging issues in my region. My communication skills allowed me to achieve high customer satisfaction, even while having to troubleshoot and solve complex network issues, leaving the customer with a positive experience. I also had the amazing opportunity to serve in the United States Army, and the most important things that I took away from that experience was my attention to detail and maintaining my focus under extremely high-pressure situations. I had many opportunities as a Field Service Engineer, to get that call of desperation in the middle of the night. My ability to handle those extremely volatile situations, with little sleep, made me a valuable asset to the team. By staying calm and focused during highly stressful situations, I could calm the customers frustrations, gather the pertinent information, and take care of those emergency situations.
