Innovative digital product design for start ups and small companies with the goal of exponential growth

Client – IDS (B2G)• Led discovery for and designed prototypes in Figma that contributed to the start-up receiving an invitation to cross-agency federal disaster recovery exercises and helped the founder shift his initial offering to better solve client needs.Client - CarADAS (Enterprise)• Led discovery exercises, designed prototypes in Figma, and gathered stakeholder and user feedback for an MVP web application that allowed the client to move away from a 3rd party system, improving the workflows for their specific needs.Client - Assurant (B2B2C, B2C)• Improved user feedback cycles by integrating user testing as a part of the feature designs.• Built and extended the mobile design system in Figma to encourage system thinking across the mobile design team and help them transition more quickly from Sketch.• Mentored new design team members, helping them get up to speed with their products, providing design feedback, and advising them on stakeholder relationships, as well as working within a design system and technical constraints.• Led the redesign of the client’s primary mobile app for a modernized mobile product strategy to gather interest in a more innovative approach from stakeholders.

• Planned and led user research for and redesigned our primary user flow for the prescription savings portal. The new design increased the behavior change by over 350%.• Led the discovery and design of an internal CRM feature that decreased client onboarding time from well over a month to just a couple of hours.• Integrated user feedback loops into the product design process that didn’t previously exist within the organization.• Identified and implemented Pendo analytics and led the implementation of UX metrics for our prescription savings portal as a part of our product development lifecycle so we could use data to assess how features performed. and improve them.• Led design thinking workshops with stakeholders for new and updated features to align user needs with business goals, socialize UX design processes, and determine solutions.• Led accessibility assessments for our prescription savings portal and made design updates to meet WCAG AA standards and improve the overall experience.• Created a design system for use in Figma to encourage system thinking and led the planning for implementing it in code to increase efficiency across the organization.

• Performed user interviews to understand how users interacted with features and gathered user feedback on design changes for an enterprise web application • Designed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes based on user research, and stakeholder feedback for websites, web applications, and mobile apps.• Utilized molecular design principles to design and develop an MVP design system to provide developers with reusable design pieces and the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for each design pattern within the library• Developed web application screens in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript utilizing Bootstrap and SASS, as well as Bourbon and Foundation in the development of websites.
