I have two roles at the university. For the majority of the time I sit in classes, take notes, ask questions, and gather this information to aid Non-English speaking students. Other roles I fill are, proofreader, writing instructor, homework reminder, and other tasks that come up while trying to better the students' experiences. The second role I fill is that of an ESL Instructor. Through the eyes of an Art university I maintain a classroom that will ultimately help the students succeed in their major classes and beyond. I deal with vocabulary acquisition, grammar, reading, writing, editing, and speaking skills. I do this with the idea of keeping a fun yet disciplined classroom environment.

This was a language school for the people of the area to practice conversational English. The students ranged from children to high school students, all the way to senior citizens. My responsibilities were to follow a lesson plan with a group of no more than four in a class. I also worked at various different locations in the area.
