Co-Founder of Formative Loop, a math program that helps students master foundational skills at their own pace. Our company started as a passion project to support local schools and has since grown to be used daily by more than 100,000+ students across 3,000+ schools nationwide.

I led the team at HomeAway/VRBO which built web and mobile applications that vacation rental owners across the world use. Onboarding new listings, managing bookings, as well as day to day communications with guests. I drove a significant business model shift with a transition from craigslist style ads to a marketplace with homes that were online bookable. We started at 25% online-bookable properties, and in a year were over 90% monetizable listings. Managing this careful transition with minimal customer turnover was a significant milestone for the company.

Led the effort to create Bazaarvoice's first analytics product. Using data from ratings and reviews, the product helped manufacturers identify necessary changes in product designs and retailers altering what products they sell.

I led a team of program managers (the Microsoft equivalent of a Product Manager) working on document management for SharePoint 2010. We took a very stale industry and created a solution which worked off the shelf and could be managed without consultants. The product is a major revenue driver for the Office division and has displaced many deep-rooted competitors.

An action that seems simple, like saving a document from Microsoft Word onto a server, actually requires a ton of intricate design work. This is especially true in complicated products like Office and Sharepoint. In my first role at Microsoft working on the SharePoint/Office 2007 release, I drove the design and implementation of document storage features, services, and APIs.
