As the Key Account Manager, I worked with clients to create results-driven tactical plans that were executed by our team of content writers, designers, and developers with the end goal of increasing AUM.

As a result of the ongoing Syrian crisis, there are many displaced urban poor individuals and families without medical and dental health care. In response to this need, I felt compelled to form The Relief Initiative (TRI), a medical and dental health service provider. TRI provides hope and health care services to individuals and families residing in Amman, Jordan as a result of the ongoing conflict.This experience taught me how to successfully hire, train, counsel, debrief and evaluate the performance of multi-national teams of health care providers and disaster relief volunteers serving at-risk individuals and families in an unstable environment. 

I was afforded the opportunity to interface and work directly with the UNHCR (the UN refugee agency), high-level officials within the Royal Court of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, local community members, local and expat medical and dental health care providers, and leaders of other accredited humanitarian aid organizations serving in the health and education sector.This role provided the opportunity to participate in regional planning meetings. The knowledge and experience gained from these meetings allowed me to subsequently develop and implement strategies in chorus with other providers to ensure best practices were employed. As the Executive Director, I participated both as a direct provider of services as well as a facilitative leader ensuring teams remained healthy and working towards established metrics.

As a cornerstone of the National Park Service, the Dunes Learning Center programs reach 15,000 children on an annual basis and ensure a greater knowledge of the natural and cultural resources found in the Great Lakes Region.

My role was to identify state standards, develop vibrant education teams, and ensure proper delivery of programs that in turn made our teachers successful in the classroom. 

It was my honor to continually build the capacity my staff so that they could become as successful as possible both at the Dunes Learning Center and beyond. In addition, I also helped develop and teach programs that made it easy for school teachers to receive continuing education credits (CEU).As a result of my background in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), I was able to ensure every employee at the DLC was trained in CPR & Community First Aid. In the event of an emergency, I was typically the first professional health care provider. I regularly coordinated evacuation and/or additional resources in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State Park.

As a facilitative leader, I worked both as a Type 1 Wildland Firefighter Medic while aggressively fighting wildland fire. Having the ability to fight fire and rove the fire line ensured protocols were followed, staff remained safe, and Rx fireline objectives were met.In conjunction with this role, I also worked as a health care provider on an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance for both medical and trauma-based events. As the Station Captain, I made myself available to: encourage, provide resources, serve as a connecting piece to other departments, and hold individuals accountable for their stated personal and occupational goals.I consider myself blessed to have served with many great leaders who modeled firsthand the acumen necessary in emergency situations.
