Project management consultant managing a project to re-platform and upgrade the Oracle/PeopleSoft application suite from DB2/mainframe 8.9 to Oracle 9.1, including the implementation of UC4 scheduling software. Also managing an infrastructure project to distribute Symantec anti-virus software to all Payless retail stores.

Served as project manager for a business intelligence / data warehouse implementation for the Small Armaments division of ATK. Integratede data from five operational systems to create data visibility and reporting integrity utilizing the Kimball methodology. The Informatica / SSRS solution will enable the reallocation of over 80 hours weekly to more value-added activities.

Currently responsible for international business development, overall operations in Asia and international program management. Led Applebee’s expansion into Asia, the first company-owned market outside the U.S., defining strategies for all aspects of the business including marketing, supply chain, operations, accounting, etc. Developed and implemented a franchise onboarding methodology and toolkit (FROG) for improving the timeliness and effectiveness of opening international franchise markets. Led FROG projects in China, Canada, Singapore, London, and El Salvador.

Program / project manager for various initiatives making a positive impact across company operations, including: developing an integrated supply chain management platform, implementing an industry-leading restaurant management suite of tools, developing web-based metrics dashboards for company operations, and implementing the PeopleSoft suite of software.

Relocated to Calgary, Canada, to implement SAP for a recently acquired company. Managed a team of 30 that, among other things, identified 420 gaps between SAP and business requirements through structured requirements gathering sessions. The $7M project was delivered ahead of schedule and included HR, payroll, finance, consolidations, asset management, work management, and supply chain management. Prior to my SAP experience, co-directed a project to consolidate North American operations from three ERP systems onto PeopleSoft. The project had savings of over $5 million annually through reduced license fees, hardware and support staff. The scope included HR, payroll, accounting, finance, asset management, work management, and supply chain management. After establishing a strong global PeopleSoft foundation, directed a team of 19 to convert the aging U.K. accounting system. The introduction of the Euro across Europe and a desire to manage the U.K. books in several currencies added to the project’s complexity. The scope included accounts payable, receivables, general ledger, VAT, and multi-currency.
