I see this project as an awesome natural progression from my undergraduate studies at San Diego State University where I completed my B.A. in Social Sciences with a concentration in Environmental Studies and Public Policy, as well as my earlier college education at San Diego Mesa College with coursework in architecture and computer programming. I've spent most of the past 10 years working as a photographer focusing mostly on photojournalism, documentary, portrait, and marketing, all while honing a multitude of additional skills in communication, organization, leadership, project management, digital asset management, and technology proficiency that are required to succeed as a photographer today with highly variable time and budget constraints on projects. Previous experience as a CAD drafter includes producing construction documents in AutoCAD, Revit, and other 2D/3D software suites for two construction companies. This experience also includes coordination with regulatory agencies, engineering and other involved professionals, as well as permit processing and adherence to local, state, and federal codes.
