About Dustin Osborne

I am a Partner at Goldberg Segalla licensed to practice in New York and Georgia. My practice focuses on the defense of complex workers’ compensation claims. In representing clients in all types of workers’ compensation litigation, I handle matters from their inception through resolution, and, if necessary, on appeal. I also practice in the field of sports and entertainment law, while my background further includes commercial litigation.I co-chair Goldberg Segalla’s Professional Employer Organization (PEO) group, which serves the complex legal needs of PEOs in this burgeoning industry. As counsel for a number of PEO clients, I monitor litigation and legislation in jurisdictions throughout the country, including how various states handle the issue of workers’ compensation coverage for non-leased employees.While attending Syracuse University College of Law, I was an Associate Notes Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Communication & Research, Entertainment Law, and Copyright Law. I also served as the Student Bar Association class president from 2014-2016 and as vice president from 2013-2014. I further participated in the school’s Veterans’ Legal Clinic, and I graduated cum laude.To date, I have received my Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Syracuse University College of Law, as well as my Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Economics from the University of Georgia.
