I was responsible for all surveillance/quality assurance of Vehicle Operations, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Management Office, and Aerial Port portions of a $120 million Spain Base Maintenance Contract; to include 172 contract personnel, $13 million in vehicles/equipment, six facilities, and peacetime/War Reserve Material assets. Evaluated activities/developed monthly reports documenting contractor performance in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. Was responsible for notifying the Contracting Officer of any significant performance deficiencies and recommending improvements to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan/Spain Base Maintenance Contract Statement of Work. Also responsible with monitoring/ensuring contractor compliance with the provision of policies, directives, and the Statement of Work to meet safety requirements, day-to-day operations, new mission requirements, and contingency operational requirements. Additional duties consisted of primary building custodian, security forces augmentee, and primary vehicle control officer.
