As the President and Director of Financial Planning at Strata Wealth Advisors, I oversee the firm along with the governance, advancement and application of the firm’s financial planning process. I also serve as an advanced financial planning resource for the firm’s Wealth Advisors when a client requires sophisticated strategies and extensive analysis.As a Wealth Advisor, I work with clients on determining their financial goals and developing a plan with them to meet those goals. The plan is continuously monitored and adjusted as needed to ensure it does not get off track.I monitor ongoing government regulations and planning trends so that Strata’s Wealth Advisors can respond to legislative shifts and beneficial opportunities for our clients. I also collaborate with outside relationship advisors for topical expertise and unique strategies for more complex financial planning situations.

As the Vice President of Financial Planning at True North Advisors, I was responsible for the design, governance, innovation, and strategic application of the firm’s financial planning program, which is the foundation used to build and monitor each client’s personalized financial plan. In addition, I managed the selection and implementation of the planning tools, processes and resources used by True North’s Wealth Management teams to deliver holistic advice to clients.I oversaw the Financial Planning team, which serves as a resource for the firms’ Wealth Managers when client planning needs require additional support and in-depth insight, such as topical expertise, unique strategies, and collaboration on complex solutions with multiple outside professional advisors. The Financial Planning team also researches the implications of ongoing government regulations and planning trends and delivers relevant information and training to Wealth Managers so they are equipped to respond to industry shifts and beneficial opportunities for our clients.

I oversaw a portion of the firms' Financial Planning team and the compliance program in addition to participating in the governance of the firm. I also provided financial planning for physicians, entrepreneurs and small business owners and developed advanced estate planning strategies for clients while managing various high level financial planning issues.
