One of my goals is to be a leader and help to shape the visual revolution that is taking place worldwide. In 2011, I teamed up with two fantastic colleagues to create Ink Factory, a visualization company that specializes in visual note-taking (AKA graphic recording), workshops, illustrations, and videos. Ink Factory is a visual communications company the specializes in live visual note-taking. Our mission is to create visual experiences that inspire and engage. Our vision is a world where visuals are the universal language. It's my job to make sure Ink Factory carries out our mission and vision all while being a great place people want to work at and upholding our core values of creating awesome work, valuing each team member, and having fun. My other goal is to place public art in places all over the world. My hope is that my sculpture will be seen and help transform a site into a more beautiful place.Specialties: I am a leader. I use my life experiences that I've been privileged to have and to my best to treat others as they'd like to be treated and set a good example. I encourage laughter, trying new things, and making mistakes (and I make my fair share of those!). I am a visual note-taker. I listen to a group conversation of 10 to 2010 people and draw key ideas and discussion points in words and pictures. Visual note-taking can be used as a workshop or meeting enhancing tool to gain engagement from the group, as well as foster the dialog by mapping and organizing a live visual record. It is also a very useful way to create an emotional connection with your audience at conferences and trade shows. I am a sculptor. My current focus is on large abstract steel forms which I prefer to place in public spaces. I want my art to be approachable and accessible. I work with salvaged industrial materials and make the scrap in sculpture that plays with the juxtaposition of mass, balance, and gravity.
