- Led numerous, multi-day trainings on human trafficking prevention by following lesson plans, facilitating discussions and activities, and creating anti-trafficking facilitator success plans for service providers of youth across the United States I have trained over 200 service providers to implement the LOVE146 Not A Number Human Trafficking Primary Prevention Curriculum.- Managed a, three year, multi-million dollar grant through the Office for Victims of Crime to train 200 youth service providers in the LOVE146 Primary Prevention Human Trafficking Curriculum.- Provided ongoing technical assistance and support related to the primary prevention of trafficking for over200 trained facilitators across the United States.- Aided in the monitoring and evaluation of the Not A Number curriculum with the University of NewHampshire Crimes Against Children Research Center.- Hosted 2 quarterly webinars (on vicarious trauma and human trafficking myths), 8 workshops and 1 yearly national training on anti-human trafficking efforts.- Produced external and internal reports on trafficking trends, Not A Number Facilitator trends (focused on facilitator retention), and program evaluation progress.- Collaborated with the LOVE146 prevention team in yearly reviews of our curriculum to improve theLOVE146 anti-trafficking curriculum.- Liaised with county, state, federal partners and law enforcement agencies in a systems wide approach to the prevention of trafficking, creating stronger relationships between LOVE 146 and New York State Office of Child and Family Services, The Connecticut Office of Child and Family Services, The Connecticut Judicial Branch, The Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime, Safe Harbor New York, The Connecticut Human Anti-Trafficking Response Team, and numerous non-profit and grassroots child welfare entities across New York and Connecticut.- Facilitated anti-trafficking primary prevention curricula for over 100 at-risk youth in Connecticut.

- Taught Introduction to Criminal Justice to 25 first-year students both over Zoom and in person. All students passed my course and their evaluations of my course were above the faculty average for Introduction to Criminal Justice at the university.- Taught the Uncommon Freshman Experience course, focused on human rights considerations in criminal justice practices to 50 first-year students over Zoom and in person. All students passed my course and and their evaluations of my course were above the faculty average for the course at the university- Researched the lived experiences of men with incarcerated romantic partners through in-person interviews centered around strain identification and reduction from a human rights perspective.- Extensive experience with visualizing, cleaning, coding, and analyzing qualitative data using R and SPSS statistical packages for the purposes of translational research within the sphere of criminal justice. This includes conducting qualitative analysis on a first author, peer-reviewed research study.- Presented research related to the collateral consequences of incarceration on the family at various national and regional conferences including; The Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences 57th Annual Conference, The Western Association of Criminal Justice Virtual Conference, The University of London School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS) Annual Conference, and The Prisoner Families Conference.- Wrote and produced three policy papers for Evidence Based Practices Quarterly by analyzing existing documents, statutes, and relevant research, from a human rights perspective on incarceration, homelessness and the rights of incarcerated persons and their families to prison visitation

Brussels Area, Belgium

- Worked in a think tank on innovative approaches to supporting human rights defender partners, including but not limited to the making short films to promote the work of human rights defenders and combat misinformation, preparing five reports (one for each country of focus) on misinformation campaigns for EU institutions, the global community, and the general public within the country of the human rights defender, and increasing the social media output of the organization to free jailed human rights defenders in Eastern Europe- Filmed and edited interviews with human rights defenders from Russia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan to reestablish their image within their country of work. This work resulted in screenings of human rights defenders and their work at two human rights film festivals. Additionally, this work led to an increased general awareness of human rights abuses in Eastern Europe through repeated public screenings as well as sharing of videos on the internet.- Planned, organized and hosted film screenings at the International Partnership for Human Rights of human rights abuses in Eastern Europe, made by local filmmakers. These screenings included workshops and question and answer sessions with the directors and lived experience experts in order to educate attending audience members on the topic portrayed in the film.- Aided human rights defender partners in the investigation of human rights abuse claims by preparing reports, tracking arrest records and prison transfers, interviewing affected parties, and providing translational services. This resulted in increased awareness of human rights abuses in Russia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan and increased public demand for the release of affected parties.

Mandalgovi, Dundgovi, Mongolia

-Investigated and determined community needs, by conducting quantitative and qualitative needs-based assessments (surveys, community maps, interviews, focus groups, etc.). This resulted in identifying the need for programming for youth in the provincial capital to receive life skills, communicable disease prevention, and health relationship educational services.- Developed a life skills card game, to teach family planning, smoking and alcohol prevention, and condom usage that was used to train over 200 at-risk youth in the community.- Formed a community-wide co-ed soccer league by working alongside two Mongolian counterparts. The league included over 200 students, created coaching positions at six schools, and mandated female participation for the entirety of each game. This program aimed to meet the identified needs of youth for healthy relationship education as well as communicable disease prevention by incorporating the GrassRoots Soccer curriculum into the league. This youth soccer league is now being successfully run and has led to two individuals involved with the league receiving full-time jobs to continue running the league.- Wrote and managed a USAID grant for over $1,000 that funded the Mandalgovi Soccer League by providing indestructible soccer balls, training for league staff, Mongolian Soccer Federation referee certifications for staff, and other miscellaneous supplies needed for the creation of the league.- Taught and facilitated English lessons for the community at large (25 individuals) as well as local schools 200 individuals).- Attained Advanced Mongolian language proficiency according to the Language Proficiency Index- Developed and facilitated a condom negotiation strategy training and HIV testing for approximately 40 sex workers living and working at coal mines.- Worked with victims of sexual assault and former child sex workers providing psychological first aid and life-skills training at the Tsoglog Center in Ulaanbaatar.

- Trained over 400 Federal Government Natural Disaster Response Employees on the WebEOC program (Web-based Emergency Operations Center). WebEOC was in the process of being rolled out organization-wide at this time and our team was tasked with ensuring that FEMA staff, state disaster management partners, and contractors would be able to effectively and efficiently navigate the system when responding to a natural disaster. - Traveled nationally on special assignments for the Department of Homeland Security- Assigned to McAllen, Texas to work at the overflow facility for over 300 (rolling occupancy)unaccompanied minors (UACs) for mass care and support functions.- Served as a liaison between unaccompanied minors, FEMA, Border Patrol, Health and Human Services,and Save the Children to ensure their safety and well-being by communicating youth needs to Border Patrol and Save the Children staff. This resulted in creating educational and social health programming for the youth while housed at the UAC facility.- Aided in the creation of a Medical Countermeasures plan for the state of Texas that was then adopted for planned response to a chemical weapons attack on the port of Houston Texas- Awarded Americoprs NCCC Humanitarian Award- Awarded President’s Volunteer Service Award and Congressional Award for Volunteer Public Service
