Brought on board to help transition traditional old style 2-color directory printing operation into the digital world of 4-color Computer-to-plate, through the use of up-to-date Electronic Prepress hardware, software, and file server technology. Worked in collaboration with the publisher to create a digital file workflow between the publisher's off-site operation and the printer, Stevens Graphics, Inc.Trained and supervised existing production staff in the operation and use of new digital tools which replaced the traditional tools of the trade to which they were accustomed.Implemented Perl and Unix shell scripts to increase automation and efficiency between the publisher and the printer.
