I am a professional AI Engineer / Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist, Team Lead and Manager, with a background in Biochemistry (Ph.D), in particular Next-Generation Sequencing and Systems Biology, and several years in both academia and biotech manufacturing. I have experience in pharma / diagnostic industry including management (7+ years), academia - lecturing Bioinformatics and Biochemistry (6.5 years), and agricultural biotech / bioprocessing / fermentation industry including management level (3 years). Currently I specialise in the application of the methods from Systems Biology, Synthetic Biology, Machine Learning and Bioinformatics in the field of enzyme manufacturing, in particular, for the development of Next-Generation Sequencing library preparation kits and NGS assays. My academic background include a variety of projects relating to the understanding of cellular processes by Computational and Experimental Systems Biology including various forms of metabolic flux analysis and simulation, methods for analysis of gene regulation, metabolism and signal transduction, the computational modelling of complete cells, and the use of NGS technologies such as DNAseq and RNAseq. Agricultural biotech experience range from scientific lead and manager in production of biocontrol agents by liquid fermentation, to the analysis of secondary metabolites using mass spectrometry, isolation of compounds and management of a team. I thrive in a fast-changing environment with non-obvious outcome possibilities, and bring innovative solutions to the table.
