Decades ago one of my former supervisors, a professor of architecture, told me I was the most creative person he'd ever worked with. I've been trying to live up to his estimation ever since.I'm a writer and editor of fiction, creative nonfiction, and web collateral. I came to this after a career in technical communications writing, illustrating, and editing newsletters, software manuals, and more, on- and offline. I've developed and applied commercial geospatial and graphic software since the infancy of those specialties, and my more than 50 research papers in geospatial data modeling and digital cartography continue to be widely cited.My most significant recent project was a thriller called Turkey Shoot that recounts the lives and travails of a grab-bag of international terrorists as they prepare to execute an terrorist strike that's totally outside their skill set.
