About Duvall Roundtree
With IT being such an important part of every business, it is critical that the leaders of the IT teams are strategic and pragmatic while also visionary and innovative. An IT leader should look toward the future while never losing sight of the people who use the systems and stay focused on the reasons behind the upgrades and improvements as well as the goals of the organization their technology supports. These are just a few of the leadership traits that I bring.You will see detailed in my experience below that I have enjoyed a successful career in the United States Air Force. During this career, I oversaw the workforce planning and forecasting for all 22,000 IT and communications employees Air Force-wide, I managed the NSA’s largest data center and supported customer service for 50K end-users at 600 sites and provided Tier 1 help desk support for 23K users across 31 locations. My career was diverse, but it started in network architecture and administration, so I have a solid foundation of technical skills on which to base my leadership decisions.As a leader, I am often brought in to turn around underperforming teams or “right the ship” when things are not being done efficiently or in compliance with standards. On several occasions, I have identified the root cause and introduced process improvements that corrected long-standing issues. As I prepare to wrap up my Air Force career in August of 2022, I am looking to continue in a senior IT or cybersecurity leadership role.
