Promote the BOLD (Broadening Opportunity through Leadership and Diversity) Center's mission and the College of Engineering and Applied Science's goal to broaden access to CU Engineering and to improve access, recruitment, enrollment, student retention, and performance for womxn and underrepresented minority students throughout the college.Major Highlights: β’ Manage and advise 9 affinity-based, professional engineering student societies on leadership, budgeting, programming, outreach, retention, and recruitment for their organizations (i.e., SWE, NSBE, SHPE, etc.).β’ Support in designing and assessing comprehensive student programs with outcomes related to career & academic development, cultural/diversity awareness, and community-building.β’ Collaborate and manage relationships with local and national industry partners (I.e., Salesforce, Ball Aerospace, Trimble, and Apple) to create programs, events, and networking opportunities while also supporting the recruitment of mentorship programs such as Ball Sisters and Ball BIPOC Mentorship programs.β’ Holistically advise, coach, and support a caseload of approximately 150 BOLD Leadership & Engagement scholarship students in areas of academic & professional development, while also making referrals to student affairs resources (I.e. Financial Aid, Bursarβs Office, First-Generation Enrich., Residence Life, CAPS, etc.)β’ Track, collect, organize, and assess data collected from the BOLD community to improve areas in student programming and engagement, while also reporting data to the BOLD Advisory Council.β’ Collect and track quantitative and qualitative university data and literature to support the academic and social success of womxn, historically marginalized, first-generation, and low-income students in STEM.β’ Establish and build meaningful relationships with diverse student populations informed by student development theories (I.e., Intersectionality, Belonging, Funds of Knowledge, CRT) and personal lived experiences.
