Facilitate labor relations including the preparation, negotiation, interpretation and administration of bargaining unit agreements.Participate in employer-employee grievance resolutions for all union contracts and assist in the preparation of arbitration cases.Provide assistance and guidance to Department Heads regarding personnel matters such as contract interpretation, performance improvement, training, development, and disciplinary actions, etc.Act as the City Affirmative Action Officer and, as such, is responsible for developing and maintaining the City Affirmative Action Program, and represent the City in affirmative action audits.
