I work in the field of new technologies (e.g., neurotechnology, quantum technology, immersive technologies). Specifically, our team aims to anticipate the impact of new technologies on society. How can new technology promote public values, and how may it jeopardize them?

• I teach and supervise students' theses at the School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Topics include:
• Digital innovation (e.g., artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence);
• Innovation processes;
• Interorganizational collaboration;
• (Social) Entrepreneurship.

• I work in the field of international research and innovation cooperation with a focus on key enabling technologies (e.g., AI, photonics, quantum). Activities include:
• Connect with relevant stakeholders (business, research, government, IA-network);
• Organize innovation missions in which we connect business, research in NL with business, research abroad;
• Embedding innovation missions in longer-term collaboration/innovation trajectories.In addition, I occasionally work on (economic) security related topics.

KIN is all about digital innovation. We are fascinated by the ways in which the use and development of digital innovations affect the way we work and organize.We conduct research, organize consortia, provide executive education, and host masterclasses on a variety of topics such as data & analytics, creativity & design, innovation processes, crowdsourcing.

• I am involved in teaching several courses on BSc and MSc level at the School of Business and Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Activities include:
• Providing lectures and tutorials in courses such as Management of Sustainable Innovation (MSc); Technology and Innovation Management (BSc); Qualitative Research Methods (BSc); Strategic Management of Technological.
• Coordinating the course “Research Seminar I" (part-time MSc) on conducting qualitative research;
• Supervising and coaching students during their thesis;
• Coordinating student projects with firms (i.e., interaction with the firm, progress meetings, final presentations).

• During my PhD I focussed on three major themes: societal problems, digital innovation and innovation ecosystems. I followed several start-ups and a large multinational firm in their efforts to develop and implement a.
• Responsible for a 4-year study on digital innovation in healthcare;
• Negotiated access to a prestigious corporate venturing program at a renowned health-tech firm;
• Identifying business and research problems through observations, document analyses and interviews (200+) with senior-managers, designers, engineers, policy-makers;
