Development ManagerCendant Corporation 1999 - 2001Dublin OhioSuccessfully architected, developed and deployed the Outside Tracking and Billing (OTB) system. During the execution of this project performed various roles—Project Manager, Staff Manager, Project Lead, Technical Lead and Customer Advocate. This project had been attempted (unsuccessfully) several times before, the introduction and implementation of time proven development methodologies facilitated the initial delivery and subsequent phases of this project on time and under budget with “zero” runtime errors. Successfully delivered the first phase of the Financial Data Store (FDS) system. This system was a historical repository for all membership financial transactions as well as becoming a data source for the company’s general ledger. Extensively used ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) from multiple data sources to one data sync. Sponsored and led the department-wide implementation, construction and deployment of new change management and software control systems utilizing PVCS Dimensions. Established product packaging via Solaris packages and RPM’s, which significantly reduced implementation errors and support efforts.

Maintenance responsibilities on all newly developed products as well as legacy systems. Designed and implemented the local infrastructure of the CSF facility (UNIX file servers, PC systems, local TCP/IP network, Web presence, lab facilities, DataKit). Created a high performance traffic simulator for the New Atomics product line. Successfully planned and completed all Year 2000 Enhancements both internal to the facility and external to the customer. -
