Designing and realising a 700 m2 escape room facility which now has 5 different escape room experiences. This includes the design of Black Box, one of the most succesful escape room models in the industry, which can be played by 7 to 24 people and changed quickly into an escape room for kids. We developed a culture where the organisation is constantly focused on improving the customer journey in the most innovative way.

Together with Mike van Hoenselaar we created a new type of experience; Team Undercover. It is an outdoor experience with actors in Utrecht, where you have 75 minutes to help the police retrieve a stolen briefcase. A great adventure (both making and playing). See more info at www.teamundercover.com

During the roughly 10 years that I worked, as co-founder, interim CEO and director, we have grown at an annual average rate of over 20%. In 2018 I initiated a strategy that included a change of the company structure, processes en culture to become a customer centered organisation. My activities include coaching our management team and negotiating various business deals including a joint venture and takeover.

Created and helped 10 different startups in various industries. Failed a lot and learned a lot from our failings. Activities include desiging a process to optimise startup creation and coaching starting entrepreneurs.

Design and realisation of a crowdsourced transcription service. Succesful exit in 2017.

Business grew at an annual rate of nearly 100%. Merged the business with Slim Studeren into what now is Slim Academy.
