Shaped the UX strategy for the Data Visualization pillar within the Reporting Product Group (a >75 person org). Specifically focused on making the reporting information architecture findable, efficient, and clear.Helped drive design vision for 4 major product launches over 4 Inbound conferences, including key products for the newest Operations Hub product line (Custom Report Builder, Datasets). Outcome: Over $600K of MRR is attributable to Reporting upgrade points. Helped grow the UX team within the Reporting Product Group from 5 to over 15. Directly managed a team of designers. Drove the growth and investment of a dedicated dataviz platform design team. Worked with research partners to set UX measurement benchmarks for key products, to be able to consistently measure UX.

Worked with a stellar platform team to build and launch HubSpot's Revenue Attribution solution for marketers. We dug really deep with users for this one - taking an often talked about but seldom understood concept and developing an easy to use solution for marketers everywhere to measure impact. The revenue attribution tool went on to become the centerpiece of our Marketing Hub Enterprise relaunch.

Led the redesign of HubSpot's custom report builder. The new experience enabled more customers to better access powerful reporting across their data sets with new cross object reporting functionality. This resulted in a ~10% improvement in save success rate, and the elimination of deals lost due to cross object reporting. Developed loading & performance patterns and guidelines for the design system. This work impacted all of HubSpots products and is helping make HubSpot fast for our customers. Improved experiences across a variety of HubSpot's sales tools: including Inbox Connection, Products & Quotes, Activity Feed, Gmail & Outlook extensions.

Led product design for Contact Contact's newest flagship drag & drop email editor, which outperformed the legacy email editor and launched to all customers (over 500K) in less than 2 years. Ran a prototype-driven UX process that helped the team achieve a high-pressure product goal while delivering a great customer experience. During Constant Contact's acquisition, the new email editor was a major asset in strategic alignment and deal valuation.Led design for an adtech tool called AdLauncher, which helps small businesses easily advertise on Facebook through Constant Contact. The tool helped our company gain early Marketing Partner status with Facebook.

Boston & New Delhi

Designed, engineered, and patented the world's first ultraportable rain canopy for motorcycle commuters in Southeast Asia. Our startup's mission was to help millions of riders enjoy a comfortable commute during annual monsoon seasons. Helped develop the business plan and product vision to raise over $60K in seed funding. Led a product team of 3 engineers through concept design, prototyping & testing, factory sourcing, and pilot manufacturing runs. Our work brought us to be a MassChallenge Finalist team, and an Indian Angel Network incubated company.

Researched the biochemical and biophysical mechanisms of wound healing. Successfully demonstrated a hypothesized cell proliferation phenomenon in vitro using cell culture, immunostaining, Bradford assay, and confocal microscopy.

Helped principal investigators in the Reservoirs Of Antibiotic Resistance project compile a NIH grant proposal for the molecular research of antibiotic resistance in three countries.

Researched the gene protein sequences that could predict malarial drug resistance. Discovered a novel amino acid sequence that predicted the cellular localization of a key membrane protein involved in malarial drug resistance. My findings won a Semi-Finalist place in the 2007 Intel Science Talent Search.
